Do you think, just because you are a sports star/public figure, you should be considered a role model?
Take Shane Warne for example. Some people may not know him. Shit role model but one of the best cricketers ever. People slammed him for being a poor role model. He never put up his hand and said "hey kids, do what i do". He was just an aussie bloke who liked to smoke and drink and screw women.
The press love bringing someone down and I guess that's why they label these people as they do.
So why should be, by default, make these people role models?
