I used to live at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico and the White Sands bombing range is close to the base. So you could go to the national park section of White Sands and hearing planes dropping test bombs and stuff all day long sometimes. They also had an F-117 fighter wing based there.
Then at my AFB back in Georgia they used to have a B-1 fighter wing with the national guard based there. Now the base is just an overhaul place for fighters and cargo planes. They've got C-117, C-130s, C-5s and used to be big on C-141s. Also have F-15s and F-16s. Robins Air Force Base is the name.

I just went to an airshow yesterday, the Sertoma Cajun Air Festival.
The Thunderbirds was there, got some good pics but otherwise most are crap. The videos I have are junk also.
The F-15 West Coast demo and the F-18 West Coast demo were there also. As well as some others.
