I have no pictures... But I'm certain that "teh elders" in here know exactly what I'm talking about.

These items are games, either on one screen or two screens which you could fold. They used clock batteries and were extremely popular when I was a kid, approx 6-7 years old. (If some of you know what I mean, please post pics)

I'd like to get my hand at Donkey Kong 1. This was a double screen game with orange cover. Or if none of you have that specific one I can settle with Donkey Kong 2. Also a double screen game but with green cover.

I am willing to pay $100 for only one game. My only criteria is that it still works. So if anyone are interrested of selling, please contact me.

They were called "TricOTronic" or "Tric-O-Tronic", some early Nintendo stuff. No, I don't have any. I dump anything I haven't used for a year.

They were called "Game and Watch", apparently. We called them "Elektroniikkapeli" (Electronic game), because at this time, Pong was the only console out there.

I actually have Donkey Kong.

The thing works still, but the metal plate on the cover has fallen off maybe.. ..18 years ago? It's epic. Still is.

I also had/maybe have somewhere a transparent Super Mario aswell:

Oh, and a Snoopy-game (the table-top version) where he hits notes with a hammer:

They'll be a bitch to find, though.. Somewhere at my parents place, I think?

You're right, tric-o-tronic was just the german brand for it. I liked "fire" when I was at school.

I have to check if I still have them around somewhere.

Just checked ebay : "Life Boat" goes for 150 € right now. Wow, who would have thought !

Can't believe that anyone would buy those at that price, though. One would have to be a certifiable loonie.

I had the Donkey Kong one and then a white one with a smaller flip-up screen. Can't remember at all the name of that one. I think it was some sort of a jungle game...?

Those are some pretty amazing prices those things are selling for ... I guess those are European-only things?

I remember I used to spend many hours sitting on the toilet playing this game, not knowing my shit that fell off my ass was already crusty and old.
yeah...MMmmmm Good times, good times.

...

P.S. Please don't visualize the "crusty and old" part.
