And as someone mentioned, the release is months away. It does look like a nice processor, but i hope intel has gotten their heat problems under control.

They didn't that thing is boiling, thats why on my next rig I'm going amd. I mean unless you spend bucks on a super cooling system, & I play bf2 for like 10 hour stretchs when I get to play so that wouldn't be very good.
My current chip barely keeps under the danger zone...

conroe is really cheap... a 2.66 ghz conroe (~500usd) is equivilant to an athalon fx-60... hope amd will do sumthing
