I'll bring my dog over to your house to play, Kmar.
I had a German Shepard named Boomer. He was born on the fourth .Poseidon wrote:

He's absolutely incredible. He's named Wyatt after Wyatt Earp from the movie Tombstone. He's very loyal and is just generally a great dog.
We had another named Maya, but she passed away in Nov. 2007. Very, very heartbreaking for my dad, stepmom and I.

No, because if we never saw the movie, we'd have no knowledge of what happened in Tombstone. And my dad loved the way Kurt Russell portrayed him, so that's why we named him that.
I'm thinking for my first dog I'm going to name him Doc. Or Ringo.

I also stole boomer from a movie too.. ID4. Again, keeping with the whole born on independence day thing. I think Boomer was a lab in the movie though.Poseidon wrote:

It's tough to lose a dog. They are members of the fam .

And yeah, it was very tough for us, especially I and my dad. Last year was very rough for us. He had a heart attack in Sep. 07 which made him code twice. He didn't need this. She was like a child and a companion to him. He was very close with her, and I'd never seen him more upset about anything. He even buried her himself.
Fuck, I'm even getting upset just thinking about it. It was really, really rough.
I'm sad
my dog probably has liver cancer and there is a chance that it is on more places.
We will get real results Thursday.
but she wont eat manually now, we need to put a special food in her mouth.

So sorry menzo. I feel for you. Spoil her. I lost my Rottie Marley in 2003 to cancer. She woke me up before she died. I just buried her ashes with my friends dog Kobe. He died last week. Kobe and Marley were buddies. Marley used to beat Kobe down when he was a pup. Good times.menzo2003 wrote:

Heres some pics I took of my precious today:
Now I was in for a shock today because my Mum found a goldmine of old pictures of Bailey's 'childhood' (approx. 3 months old )
Later on in life, about 9 months on
Also, I'd like to introduce you to Alfie, when we got Bailey she came along with him, and we intended to keep him first but Bailey was 10 times better in terms of character so he was sold on instead:
Family photo
Alfie now lives in Ipswich, living a fantastic life with an experienced Staff owner :>
Before any of these two muppets, we intended to buy a nice dog, preferably a Lab. So we got a black Lab. Unfortunately, the previous owner wanted him back after one week after saying that we weren't experienced owners (he was a hunter )
