I hung on for a loooong time. I played almost daily for a couple of years. THEN the big reset came. I started over still playing heavily, it was fun getting all the trinkets again, but then you hit that dull spot after about 20K points, when other awards and ranks are miles away... I kinda gave up since then.
Plus, after a reinstall, I found out why my booster packs wouldn't work. The boosters only work for ONE registered account, which was the account that got hacked, and my new account wasn't registered. EA and their customer screwing BS annoys me to the point of giving up.
There is a way to change the user account for the booster, but that takes dealing with EA, which i'd rather have my balls crushed in a vice, a quarter turn every half hour, than have to mess with EA for any reason.
I want to play BF2 (pr) but my disks are broke, that is why my entire games collection has moved to wallets rather than cases.

Ye I come on here for oldtimes value. Nothing like thinking about the good old days of BF2 where clan wars and pub ownage went hand in hand. I started TF2 but I found it a little too repetitive. Liked the teamwork aspect of it. Really liked it. Back to Company of Heroes now which I played on and off since I started to get bored of BF2. Uni in a week...so not much time for any PCgames but I'll keep up to date on the forums.
Last I heard there was another mysterious EA patch which never appeared. Told you it wouldn't Irish That was 3 months ago or something.

EA/DICE are not going to give up the Battlefield Franchise, it's one of their most popular. You liked BF2 enough to play it for close to 750 hours didn't you? So shut up and stop your constant complaining with BF2.

I took several months off but slowly getting back into BF2 again. As for future patches, I can care less if any will be available.
