Wow, even more lowing bashing, I am flattered. I feel like I am as popular as Sarah Palin, with all of these attacks and no substance.
HAHA substance and Palin shouldn't be in the same sentence together.lowing wrote:

lowing ur thread had no substance so dont expect answers with substance.lowing wrote:

next thread why dont u try "Last night Obama ate Tacos," Tacos are a mexican dinner dish made up of" - 'Quote Wikipedia 2008' (quote for substance of course). therefore the only conclusion i can make is that Obama is going to give the US to the mexicans in order to preserve his supply of Tacos

I hope for your sake you are a little smarter than Sarah Palin.lowing wrote:

That goes for everyone taking easy shots with very little behind them.
I'm sorry but my shot at Palin is not an unfounded or baseless insult. I have yet to see Palin display any political expertise or intelligence in any of her TV appearances since entering arguably the most important political race in the world. When I see evidence of intelligent life I'll adjust my opinions accordingly.Flaming_Maniac wrote:

PS: It's also hilarious to hear people giving out about baseless accusations in light of all the horseshit that's been bandied about in relation to Obama.

I don't care if you think she's really an alien living among us unless you have something to back it up. I don't really care if you tell us about your baseless opinions either, but it really is rather ironic when lowing talks about being attacked without significant reason and people line up to take their worst shots...Braddock wrote:

Similarly, don't throw me in with the douchemuffins calling Obama a black/white/Muslim/Christian/Kenyan/Communist/eggplant. Crap on one side does not justify crap on the other, it just makes the whole ordeal look like some sort of retard cripple fight.

Sarah Palin is not fit for the office of Vice-President and, in political terms, is a complete greenhorn, simpleton when compared with her peers at the weight that she's trying to punch at. Here are a few quick examples for you (which I'm sure you've already seen before)...Flaming_Maniac wrote:

Please feel free to post any clips of her tearing someone a new asshole in a debate or exhibiting great intelligence or presence of mind when pressed on a political issue... because I haven't seen any yet.
Assuming you find yourself reasonably intelligent (certainly more intelligent than this simpleton), care to provide us with examples of your brilliance under pressure?Braddock wrote:

Not to destroy any illusions of grandeur here, but she could probably tear anyone here apart intellectually and politically, as could George W. Bush. People call someone who works well with all eyes on them a brilliant man (or woman) and anyone with the political equivalent of performance anxiety a useless putz...it's just stupid. Anywhere outside of the political world it would be called plain flat shallow.

Well I hate to be the one to point out reality here but Bush hasn't really performed well on or off camera lately and I know this might sound harsh but hey, this is the real world... she's playing with the grown-ups now and if she can't stand the heat she should get out of the fucking kitchen. She is attempting to become an American leader and leaders have to lead, not panic, fluff their words and struggle with difficult political questions.Flaming_Maniac wrote:

It's a pity Hitler didn't panic in public situations and fluff his speeches and answers all the time because I'll tell you there would be a lot more Jews alive in Europe if he had. People don't get behind leaders who don't appear to be confident, intelligent and capable in most situations. Imagine you were in a combat zone and every time you came under fire your commander pissed his pants and started stuttering while trying to come up with ideas... it wouldn't exactly inspire his troops with confidence.
As it stands Sarah Palin appears to be way out of her depth, I'm waiting to see evidence to the contrary but I haven't seen it yet.
I was talking more about him being a non-American, Mexican-loving, baby-murdering, communist Muslim with a fake name and no birth certificate to be honest.lowing wrote:

In any case, assuming you don't believe you know more than Sarah Palin on political issues, who are you to question why the smartest man in the world is a garbageman?
Well gee, thanks for agreeing with me I guess. How good of a public speaker a politician is can (according to you) make a nation follow a genocidal maniac or ignore who could be very good at their position. People are sheep, and you can't count the number of sheep behind someone to measure how fit for the job someone is. That's exactly how we elect people, but it's not how we should judge them.Braddock wrote:

And the military metaphor for a public office is a really bad one, so I'm just going to ignore it...I think you'll agree when you read it again lol.
I hate to break it to you but George W. Bush has presided over the near demise of the US economy, an as yet unsuccessful mission in Afghanistan, an uncalled for war in Iraq, the deaths of 4,000+ soldiers, 3,000+ US civilians, the plummet in value of the dollar and consequent peak in oil price, zero progress on his 'Middle East Roadmap' and a litany of poor decisions. He is probably the worst politician to grace America in many moons and most of America agrees.Flaming_Maniac wrote:

Lowing, you often talk about individual responsibility and how one should make the best of their own opportunities... well, Obama made the best of his opportunities and he is now running for the White House, give the man some credit. If what you are saying were true and skin colour was the only prerequisite for the position there would be millions of black Americans fighting him for his position right now but there isn't... in the same way that you are not competing with McCain for his position by dint of your own skin colour.lowing wrote:

Obama is a politician, a politician who is black... get over it.
And who knows how much worse or better it could have been handled? No, no playing 20/20 hindsight, no playing what-if, we DO NOT KNOW what would have happened had someone else been President. I mean come on, even a hard line anti-Bush nut with half a brain would have to admit that at least half of everything attributed to his fault was either uncontrollable or unpredictable. As I said in another thread it is so freakin obvious he has been made a scapegoat of its ridiculous, to the point not one of us can know what was his fault and what was not. The mere fact that he hasn't been assassinated to me means that either every single person in America has lost their balls or deep down people know it's not all his fault.CameronPoe wrote:

Blaming Bush is easier than writing to your Congressmen.
Of course. He is certainly not an imbecile or the charicature that is in everyone's minds. The fact of the matter though is that he wasn't a strong president. I think the backroom boys had waaaayy too much influence over the direction America took under Bush. PNAAC to be precise (since disbanded).Flaming_Maniac wrote:
