amputation will definitely work.  It's only your little toe, its the most usless bit of the human body anyway.  No biggie.

My sister had problems with her feet when from her ankles which bent inwardly (touch your toes from both feet and that's how she looked). She had it corrected by steel rods being placed inside her feet, wearing a cast from her knees down for 6 months (she was in a wheel chair) and then had to wear corrective shoes for another 6 months. She still has three large scars on each foot from it. She was lucky though she had the surgery when she was 6.

Don't leave it too late that you can't have it corrected.

you need shoes that are wider at the toes

My toes are similar normally happens when you have been wearing shoes that are too small for you.
