God, I love Gamestop. They have a deal where if you pre-order it, you get a FREE upgrade to the limited edition as well as 6 exclusive missions and a full fold-out map. Although I think those come with the LE anyways.

I'm also going to get it for the 360. I doubt my PC will be able to handle it. It's already over a year old and has had some problems in the past. It's not like it's Fallout 3 where it's not that graphics intensive.

The game will look ridiculously awesome in a high end PC, but I'll stick to my much cheaper PS3 and 720p visuals (which I think my TV can upscale to 1080p pretty well)

Actually as with all multi-platform games I'm going to read the reviews and see if the PS3 gets shafted or not. It's a pretty big game so I hope they take the PS3 version seriously.

It's amazing that all of that can fit on an 8.5 GB DVD.

It's gonna take up near 12 GB of disk space though, so it's compressed pretty well I guess.

Only 12? That's not bad. The guys at MS are good at compressing data, so we'll see.

I'm thinking maybe 2,3 or 4 (two main, two sidearm) like Mutant said, and probably two types of explosives (frag grenades, molotov cocktails, etc).

Yep, and since the map/gps is bound to "5" by default, it only seems logical that 1-4 are for your weapons.

Also looking at the videos, 1 slot seems to be always occupied by the machete or a handgun, while there are three other slots for long-guns.

but in the original you could just throw ya pistol and knife and pick up 4 nice big guns

Nah, it's gotta be 1 sidearm/melee and 3 long-guns, or the machete and three of any gun.
