So, Bush got power and there has been a difference in the world. (admittedly, worse)

With Al 'Green' Gore in the Presidential seat do you think the world would be a different place? Would there be a new Kyoto agreement set in place that countries would actually follow? Call me idealistic, but I do. Perhaps not as extreme as a new Kyoto, but definitely less pollutants from the US. Would you have preferred a Gore presidency?

There wouldn't be a new Kyoto, the US would have ratified the original ages ago.

Australia held out for so long (with it's conservative Govt.) with the excuse that the two major polluters of China and the US failed to ratify. Even though we are the worlds worst in terms of pollution generated per capita.

Once our new Govt. came to power, it's very first step was to sign Kyoto, to thunderous applause from the rest of the countries representatives.

I was ashamed that it took so long, but glad our Labor govt. actually campaigned with the promise they would sign followed by immediately doing so.

I would have preferred a Gore govt. for a number of reasons, hindsight is 20/20. There's no telling how Gore would have handled the middle east for example. Especially Iran and North Korea's attempts for Nuclear power (weaponry).
