Don't think for a moment I want bad shit to happen.

This thread demonstrates 2 extremes.

On one end, ATG is a conspiracy theorist who seems to look for things to be paranoid about.

On the other end, Usmarine would appear to be unconditionally loyal to the government.

Most people, like myself, are in between by varying degrees.  I tend to lean more in ATG's direction, but even as cynical as I am, I don't think we're going to collapse this year.

Seriously though...  I've seen you criticize the government for a few things here and there, but when it comes down to the rights of the individual, you almost always defend the state.

That implies to me that you are very loyal to the government in general.  Granted, since you are part of the military, this is probably a good thing for obvious reasons.

But, feel free to prove me wrong.

what rights are being violated?  tell me what rights are being violated from rex 84?

No rights are being violated with Rex 84, but it only takes a little critical thought to keep a discerning eye toward government.  To me, it seems a bit wasteful to spend so much tax money on these installations.  I guess the point I'm trying to make here is that you should always be wary of government.  That's not the same as being paranoid, and it's better than being complacent.

As far as my real estate; it's all in my name. I actually could let it foreclose, not make payments for ten months and bank that money. I would then have 30k cash to put down on a foreclosed property in my wives name.

This is a major reason why the foreclosure crisis is what it is. MAny are doing this. Many were trying to flip homes bought in their wives name and walked when the market tanked.

Move to Texas.  Low taxes, low cost of living, plenty of work.   Granted, you might not like the extreme heat or the massive numbers of illegals (and believe me, they have more than Cali).

I have heard parts of Texas are doing just fine.

I love Mexicans, but Texmex food sucks, so for now I stay here.
