Ahhh, I think I've listened to him. I know what station you're talking about to. My father and I used to listen to Curtis Sliwa.Kmarion wrote:

I stopped wearing my 'What Would Jesus Do' band and I've lost all sense of right and wrong now."
Yeah, Glenn Beck is definitely a morally solid guy. And any guy who needs to ask himself "What would Jesus do right now?" to make a moral decision is a nutjob.
Of course the ultimate irony here is that Beck actually gave Ron Paul more airtime than most. So much to the point that Ron Paul told him thank you for allowing him to say everything that he wanted to. When everyone was complaining about the media ignoring Ron Paul, Glenn Beck was on air giving him total control of the interview. The nutjob Ron Paul supporters are 99 percent of the reason people were turned off at the thought of Paul.. Sad but true.. gj.

I didn't really take it seriously, but at the same time, I think it's bullshit that he is attacking people over their journalistic values and their morals. He attacks GTA IV, but then spews this BS? How about a little consistency?Kmarion wrote:

And ok to the Ron Paul thing, that's not what my post was about. I said skip to :50 because I was trying to get my point across about the Michael Moore threat thing, not the Ron Paul thing. I don't care what his nutjob supporters do, like you said, they're nutjobs.
Beck is inconsistent and unstable.. just ask him. He will tell you. lol
I was just adding another point with the Ron Paul stuff. I never could figure out why they were so hard on Beck when he was one of the ones giving him fair time .
I thought this was a geat interview:

He's criticized the current administration quite often, Cam. Once in awhile I listen to about 5-10 minutes of him after Michael Medved's show it over. Most of the time I can't stand him.CameronPoe wrote:

I dislike dobbs, hannity and beck way more than oreilly. oreilly has some entertainment value.
O'Reillys fun to laugh at until you realize he takes himself seriously. Then its just sad.God Save the Queen wrote:

He is just an annoying super-partisan douche. He thinks that show is balanced because he has a supposed liberal on it. It fools nooneGod Save the Queen wrote:

No, popular isn't necessarily better. I generally can't stand network news.nukchebi0 wrote:

You do realize Fox has higher ratings because there is a plurality of liberal networks, and only one conservative one. That is what I was trying to get at.
I don't know of any network that could be considered overtly liberal. Not in the sense that Fox is considered obnoxiously far right at least. Olberfuher is working on MSNBC. Head to Head O'reilly dominates him though. I really think it's a love hate with O'reilly. It's like giving the forum troll too much attention.

Still, most people are smart enough, or at least attuned with messages enough, to recognize which station is supporting their political views. Conservatives have Fox, while liberals can choose from MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN.
Those stations are not exclusively liberal. That is why I picked shows that were obvious examples (O'reilly/Olberman). You know exactly where and when to tune in if you want your dose of Liberal/Conservative bias in that time slot.nukchebi0 wrote:

Best I've found would be the PBS News hour, especially the Shields\Brooks analysis, where you have a Lib and Cons debate or talk out the issue and they both know their stuff very well.

PBS is respectable till they beg for money, then I get turned off.TheAussieReaper wrote:

Well, I listen to Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity everyday 8am - 5pm. I also watch Fox News. I doubt any of that is "liberal" media.
