I've been thinking about maybe trying to make some shirts lately, but when I google that, all I get is that cheesy iron-on and cafepress type stuff. How do you get a real job done? Like full shirt design, quality prints. Buy some blank shirts, make a design, then what? Does Kinko's do that or something?

Go to your local highschool, find the Graphic Arts teacher, and beg to borrow his silkscreaning machine/materials.

As I discussed in this thread, out school doesn't even have it's own copying machines any more so I seriously doubt that they would let me use it if they even had it. But thanks for the suggestion.

And also, I realized what the actual term was to google for and that was "screenprinting." So now I know a bunch of local places that do real shirt screenprinting, so I guess I'll call around and get some prices.
