No it wasn't. You've just been reduced to scavenging the internet in search of iq stats that compensate for your feelings of inadequacy.
Actually, I wasn't. I was taking an immature dig that was supposed to be taken the internet way - as here, digs seems to be thrown around like footballs.

I didn't scavenge and I didn't claim my comment was true. The fact that you are taking this all too seriously is incredibly funny, but War Mans comment was so incredibly ignorant, that it had to be said. Internets, srs bsns.
So you knew what to expect when you wrote it. Don't dish it if you can't take it .

Kids take them nowadays....... if you're "gifted" you get put into "gifted" classes because your "special".

Apparently I scored 5 points too low... so I'm not "gifted" or "special"   If only I had put that square together 2 seconds faster... god damnit.
My kid never took one, he was just put a grade ahead because he learns so fast.  No test needed.  He is one of those stupid Americans.
Then you're kid is a child prodigy tbh.....

first this quote contradicts itself

"As a candidate for governor,

Sarah Palin called for teaching creationism alongside evolution in public schools. <------ Note, says she called for it to be taught b4 elected.

But after Alaska voters elected her, Palin,

kept her campaign pledge to not push the idea in the schools." <------- Note, says she pledged not push for it to be taught b4 elected.

So, I would say your sources are pretty poor.  Obviously you can not cite where she " AS GOVENOR " pushed for it to be taught.  Thus, she is not for having it taught in school.

But yeah, it makes for a nice lie to spread.

btw: the second quote means nothing without knowing the question or context of the partial statement.

There are so many lies out there about her now that I trust nothing " reported " anymore.

Unless since running as president she says she supports teaching creationism in public schools, she doesn't.  This is what happens when people spread lies.

"Teach both. You know, don't be afraid of information. Healthy debate is so important, and it's so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both."

Now that quote there is enough for me to realise that Sarah Palin is a fucking idiot. Period. To even entertain the possibility is jaw-droppingly retarded.

I mean OBVIOUSLY. CNN is SUCH a poor source. http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/11/palin.truth/

She believes in about the dumbest thing you can believe in this modern world, that should be enough to not allow her to be vice president.
I mean, dinosaurs were COOL. She doesn't believe in them?! Why can't she refuse to believe in tax returns or laws? It would make her a much more interesting character....

Well, it is documented.  She doesn't support it anymore, sure, but the fact that she at one point in her life did, tells me that she's no different than the right wing religious whackjobs that have ruled this country with an iron fist for 8 years... or 6, depending on what you look at.

Gee I believe the second quote was from:

According to the Anchorage Daily News, Palin asked Wasilla's city librarian in 1996 if she would be OK with removing certain books as part of a larger discussion on policy. The librarian said no, and there's no evidence supporting a book ban.

In fact, some of the books cited on this list weren't even published 12 years ago -- namely the Harry Potter series, which first appeared in July 1997.

Another false claim churning in the rumor mill: that Palin slashed Alaska's special-needs education budget by more than 60 percent.

According to a recent Education Week article, Palin tripled the amount of money each student will get during the next three years.

NICE SOURCE you should have read it yourself.

"But some rumors do have a bit of truth.

It's been rumored that Palin wants to teach creationism in schools. While she vowed not to add it to Alaska's curriculum, she has spoken in favor of classroom discussion of both creationism and evolution.

"I don't think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class. it doesn't have to be part of the curriculum," Palin told the Anchorage Daily News in a 2006 interview."

Please note the important parts:  if it comes up in class     it doesn't have to be part of the curriculum

You know I've never heard of any logical debate-style argument for Creationism. I'd like to see someone debunk all the evidence/theories for evolution and prove that their creationist theory is more valid. I'd like someone to disprove the fact that the earth is billions of years old and prove that it is infact only 6000 years old. Or at least debunk the scientific theories/evidence behind the fact that the earth is billions of years old.

I'm not trying to say that they haven't because they can't, I'm just saying I'd like to see it because I'd be interested in hearing how they put their creationist idea across.

You really are a complete moron. Did I ever say she wanted schools to teach it? Did I ever claim she said so? Did I EVER IMPLY THAT SHE WANTED SCHOOLS TO START TEACHING IT?! No, I did not.

Of course, you being a moron and all, tried to read too much into my first comment about Sarah Palin, but your little brain couldn't muster the power to realise I meant nothing more than the fact that Sarah Palin is a nutter for believing in Creationism.

That source was merely evidence showing you that she has actually even considered it and believe it to be for a good discussion in class. Where you found the part that I said she wanted to teach it, is beyond me. Though, of course, with your simple brain, you can get mixed up a lot...

Nothing we've ever learned in the name of science has ever excluded the existence of a creator. Nothing. You are thinking in very basic terms when it comes to creationism. You should expand your intellectual horizon to think beyond traditional beliefs.

Ah, so your point is that just like O'bama, Biden, and McCain she believes in Creationism and is therefore a nutter.

Or did you mean that all the US presidents up until now were nutters but just forgot to include them and O'bama in your rant?

Wow, no wonder Ireland is better than Snotland.

I'm curious as why you think I should trust them to Obama either? Check the OP, he has no more real experience than Palin. Is he running against Palin? I thought McCain is the Presidential candidate but obviously you cannot attack his experience. Maybe that was the whole point of the OP...how the Dems made a huge blunder going after her and her experience. You think? Or does his messiah-like shine blind everyone to that?

Side note, it is so damn funny that everyone is throwing out the "you want to 'f' her", "thinking with your penis", etc. I assure you, my penis does not vote...however, it was pleasant to know that after months doubting it because of Hillary...I now know that a candidate can be attractive.

I've said it before, I think Obama inspires hope in people.  I think people who have hope will help themselves. That's a good thing. It may be reason enough to vote for him.  However, to keep comparing him or his experience to Palin is getting ridiculous.  Move on Dems...give me a reason, a real reason, to keep considering Obama...keep this kind of crap up and I'm voting McCain/Palin.

It has come quite clear that a significant portion of the american people vote on how much they "like" the candidate, they vote totally un-educated on the policy's the candidate has proposed. A study shows that the Mccain campaign recieved a 4% advantage over Obama's after appointing Palin as his vice president, most of these voters, women, thought that they could "relate" to her. She doesnt believe that dinosaurs existed for gods sake, she proposes to teach creationism in schools and is totally against abortion. To be quite harsh it would be quite hard for the women of America to relate to her when she plunged the whole world into a nuclear winter after retaliating to another world leader using the lords name in vain or something similar. And I'd have thought that when senator Mccain announced that there will be more wars, source: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZCISY40qns) that some of the American people would be put off voting for him because of the shear fact he is admitting to future wars, and that he plans to take America into future conflict. As for me I certainly would not vote for a president that promises future wars, that also has a VP that called building a new oil link in Alaska "God's Will". All in all pleeeasee vote Obama.

Anyway Matt daemon can explain it better than me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rw_SJzDEd3M
