I still remember getting pulled out of school and having a fear of flying that lasted me 2 years.

Ironic that I just got out of Flight School an hour ago.

Call me an emotionless prick for not lying and said I cried, of course I didn't cry. To me, it was just another news event. Like the Balkan wars were, or those African famines. I didn't cry for them either. Did you?

At least my value for human life is low all around the board (well except for close family members/friends.....maybe...). Whereas some seem to hold it higher in some places of the world and lower elsewhere.
I know...I'm just saying..
It kinda pisses me off when people give off this kinda "Oh who cares" attitude about a tragedy elsewhere in the world.

Neither is Mek, I don't think I heard about it until a week after it happened...

Where you honestly that bothered about the genocide in Rwanda, the Chinese earthquake, the Indian floods, the London bombings, the Madrid bombings?

Don't pretend you were, or that you cried.

damn, it's been 7 years?

I still remember that day. I was living in Houston, which apparently was one of the top 10 cities on the terrorists' list of "victims". We were all sent straight home from school, and we sat and watched it on the news with the neighbours (they had a basement). God, that was a scary day.

It was far worst than the Twin Towers attack, yet no one cares.

Im sure there are people out there that care, and that doesnt mean you should be using that to understate the 9/11 attacks.

seeing as i'm far younger than 35 years old, i wouldn't know about that.  but i do know that 9/11 is the worst mass casualty i have ever lived through.

Good, those messages will drill it into your head every year then.
