What's the deal with this "sound tweak" that can fix hitreg or make it easier to hear enemies or something like that.

It simply takes away your gun fire sounds, explosions (e.g grenades) and voices of other soldiers in your team saying things like "I need a medic here."
You concentrate a bit better with it and stops you getting distracted. Does nothing to your Hit Reg.

You can turn off tinnitus so your screen doesn't go wobbly and you can turn your gun sounds off, seen a few people say sound tweaks and default config makes hitreg better, doesn't work for me.
