- My size and kind of monitor do you have?
17" NEC MultiSync. Came with my comp, nothing special, but it works well.
And why the fuck is this in the BF2 chatter section?

Amen to that! I also have one of those 17-inch CRTs that Dell used to make back in the Middle Ages. Came with my 2001-era Dimension 8200 (and even back then wasn't so great)...five years later, the picture's starting to shrink, it makes weird popping noises now and then, and every so often the corners shimmer...can't wait till it dies so I can make the leap to LCD.McCullough wrote:
It's not the size that matters, it's how u use it
I have a Medival 17" Dell Monitor it's gigantic and crappy but i works Excellent.
I play with a Philips 19". Have had a few rounds on an Apple 24" though and it was heaven.
To the guy who was trying to play (shudder) on 256mb of RAM, you need at LEAST 1Gb for BF2 to run OK and preferably 2Gb. 256Mb doesn't even run XP without paging...

17 inch diamond view mitsubishi with a thumb mark(from my nephew) in the top left corner.only notice it when screen is dark.:Dhave played on a plasma 106cm,resolution was great but refresh a bit slow.blew everyone away though.i envy gotmex:D
Dual LG 17" 8ms LCD's..am thinking of going dual 19" though..
22" CRT: LaCiE Electron 22 Blue IV
While LCDs responsiveness is getting close to CRTs responsivness, they're still not quite as good. CRTs are much better for brightness and colours clarity.

19" Hyundai L90D+
ViewSonic (tft) 19" VX924. 1280x1024 (supposed to be 3ms response)
My old monitor is a Belinea 17" 103040 crt, which I keep meaning to setup up as a second monitor to the system. Not got the deskspace though at the moment as my HP Photosmart 8450 printer takes up a load of space.
My work monitor is a 19" 1280x1024 (tft) monitor which I can't remember the make and model of.

19" Hp f1905 16ms and I love it. No ghosting, very sharp, no dead pixels, and DVI imput kicks VGA's ass. Apparently Samsung makes the actual monitor.
dell 21 2005 fpw. 12ms very nice mon. i luckily snagged a march model from 05. built in china. the mexico one's are fubar.
sometimes i play on my sony 37 inch LCD. but its a S-video feed so i dont like the IQ to much. but its cool to show off when friends come by on the big screen.
plus not to mention i hate breakin out the wireless kB...usually just game on the 21' and watch movies over on the 37

why the hell do you have BOSE with that insanely nice TV? BOSE IS COMPLETE GARBAGE. even HK(Harmon Kardon) is better.|microphage wrote:

I've got a 17" flat screen. Does the job just fine
19" Formac Gallery Raven Xtreme-3 TFT 8ms response, connected to 2x6600Gt Extremes for me
No ghosting or dead pixels @ 1280 by 1024 & everything on high - the design is a bit different to a standard TFT - worth a look... http://www.formac.co.uk/frameset.htm
