I am just 14 and I never use VOIP because nobody would understand what I say (because I speak very unclearly), and I don't know myself how low my voice is.

And I agree. It's funny as hell to listen to them talk.
I've been a giant douchebag pretty much my whole life, a total asshole.

Ya know what, fuck you, kids are just as good as the adults... you guys are the ones who need to grow up, taking your shitty play out on us cause you think its our fault that you got fucking owned... panzi.

Was playing Friday night and we had a squad of kids trying to talk to each other.. wasn't a problem except that their squad leader had mapped his V button to be his team speak push to talk button..  So as commander I had to hear this kid talk all the time.. Got real annoying.

i was playing one map and this kid came on and started trying to direct me around.

i was flying the blackhawk and i took it in low to avoid AA and such. this kid starts screaming at me "GET UP HIGHER, GET HIGHER GET HIGHER"

i didnt obey because every AA was occupied and we'd get owned if we went up higher.

anyways, we end up getting taken out eventually by a jet and the squad spawns at base. the kid comes back on the mic and goes (in an extremely nerdy kid voice) "geez, what was up with that guy flying? i mean, going in low? why do you do that? you gotta get in the air..."

he jumped in the pilot seat and went up high in the air...me and 3 other squadmates told the kid to get lower or get the f*ck out...but he ignored us and went straight at the airbase on wake island at about 50-70 metres up....

we lasted about 15 seconds...

then every squadmember left...the kid was lippy AND stupid.

this has nothing to do with Kiddy voices on VOIP, but when I was playing CS:S the other day, not too long ago, some guy sang out most of the song "I Will Survive" with some added lyrics towards the end about what was happening in the round, Freakin' Hillarious!

I personally dislike foreign commanders who use VOIP to command me, I have no problem with foreigners, I ain't a racists, but when you're on a North American server, you should know that your fellow players don't have a clue as to wtf you're saying!

I don't laugh. Problem is my voice never "broke".  I still sound like a kid even though I'll be 24 in about a month.  I get called "Ma'am" on the phone everytime or treated like I'm 5. Pretty much why I stopped using my mic altogether when I play.

Let me start by saying there are tons of good players and commanders that are young.

That being said I played today with this really young dude that kept shooting me and trying to stab me, luckily FF was off and I was Support, so I racked up on points lol, but the worst was his VERY young crackling high pitched voice. Very annoying and I agree, out of place coming from a gizzled US engineer face! lol I guess it's something you have to get used to if you play videogames online?!

Yea I joined this squad once & the squad leader was a sniper..anyway hes looking at me as I run up alongside him then a short while later he starts talking. In this 8 yr old voice he says 'hey when you die again flyboy im going to revive you'..lol...(I take it that as I was a medic & he was a sniper he was going to swap kits & revive me - so cute) )then later hes like 'flyboy where are you'??, and then in this whiny voice - 'are you dead again flyboy'?..I had to leave cos it was too distracting laughing at his voice & trying to play at the same time. Nice guy but funny as to hear his voice...

Now that video proves that hitting your kids is certainly the way forward. Brats need to learn respect the hard way, none of this namby pamby "Go sit in the cool down area for five minutes" or "Sit on the stairs and think about what you have done" nonsense.

A good fucking whacking sorts 'em out good, I've been on games and heard kids get whacked for swearing, so damn amusing.

"Oh my fucking god, that's bullshit..." *THUD*

Spoiltbrat1 has left the server.

Everyone should be able to use the VOIP feature no matter what age, without being seen as odd. It's very useful. Some kids use it well, and actually suggest tactics that are very good. Others have their finger on the B(or V) key the whole time spamming the squads with annoying screaming and profanity.

Yes, one time there were 3 kids in my squad and all of them were cussing a blue streak. I think they enjoy getting on there and cussing because it makes them feel older. Personally I think it takes more of a man to hold his tongue. I had to make them wash their mouths with soap or be kicked from my squad, . Another time there was this HIGH PITCHED kid who I couldn't tell whether it was a boy or girl... I think the name was paintball888 or something close to that. That kid was screaming the whole time. It was interesting, trying to hear what he/she was saying. I got some of it. He/she was saying "HEEEEY GIMMMIEE THAAAAT - COME BAAAAACK I NEEEEED THAAAAAT!!!(speaking of blackhawk leaving carrier, pilot wasn't even in the squad). Man one guy in the squad was miserable, he kept saying "PLEASE SHUT UP." I just muted the terd. Evidently he didn't know of that feature.

Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's annoying.

I was probably that miserbale bastard you're talking about, I've told countless amounts of people to shut the fuck up over VOIP, that's why I've been lone wolf for so long. Every time I join a squad some little shit comes along and starts yelling over VOIP. =/

I had this kid, who just wouldn't shut up. He was like 8 or 9 and wanted people to 'talk to him'. Then he would talk about going to a birthday party and when he TK'd you, he said, "Sorry, I was on the other team"... like WTH?   I've heard there's even a kid on one the Aussie servers that keeps singing over VOIP.
