[TF2+CSS] In-game mic issues

My headset wont work in-game for tf2 or css but I know it functions correctly because It works fine in vent and ts. It could be something dumb like selecting an option but Im not aware of it

I was having the same issue. Turning my mic OFF on the physical headset fixed it.

there is no off switch, I have unplugged it multiple times but to no avail

Thats odd, most mics have an on/off switch/button on the physical headset. Sound properties -> check microphone -> unmute?

Outside the game? It works fine on vent and ts, just not ingame, I go to test it and it doesnt work
