It makes everything so smooth and easy to read. Going back to normal is a sin. I even enabled it on all the other comps in the house, just to spread the love.

It took a while for me to get used to it, I thought I wasn't focusing on the screen

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I can see the difference, but the first one looks worse to me.

It just makes things look fat tbh.

It seems I need it when using Firefox. I'm using it right now and all the text looks like crap, but on IE, it looks like the CT "After" pictures.

Blame Micro$oft, everyone's doing it. It was weird with that option, I must say. ClearType on IE, everything else in Windows is edgy?
