I still have British citizenship, and if I was going to join the military I think I would either try the British army or the Royal Marines. But I seriously doubt that either the American or British military would take me because of some ongoing medical problems.

hmmz rejoining the military....... Prolly RNZLC (Royal NZ Logistic Corps) this time around as a pc tech.
I was a SAM-guy. It was a helluva job to run up and down hills with that thing or two on your back. if i could choose again i think i would choose to be a crew member on sam-vehicle.
The air force. I hear those guys get the best treatment.

My high school army recruiter called me the other day and I have to say it was pretty weird.

Just a FYI. The air force, while not the most demanding of military forces, has the slowest advancement. On the other hand, the Navy, which sucks alot, has the fastest advancement. I made E-6 in just over 6 years. Some Make it faster. I know people in the AF that are still E-3s or E-4s after 6 years.
