Most games today are virtually guaranteed a Teen or worse rating, due to the ridiculously high standards st by the ESRB, but we all remember back in the day when the ratings of E (or K-A for you old fellas) were a bit more common. Sometimes though, it used to seem like they never played the game through before slapping it with a rating.
For me, the best example of this was Legend Of Zelda, Ocarina of Time, the game had grave robbery, torture chambers, skeleton warriors, and a final battle that ends with Link slashing madly at a wounded Gannon's face, complete with blood (edited out in later versions )
