lol, I'm sure Schwarzenegger is deep down an Obama lover too.paul386 wrote:

Big Brother is approaching fast. Just wait it is going to get so much worse when Obama is president. With a socialist health care system the government will all the more reason to tell you how to live your life.
I am going to eat mcdonalds today. suck a fat cock california.
Yummy. Hydrogen.usmarine2 wrote:

That's what the issue is, people putting hydrogen into oil. Hydrogen isn't something you want to eat and I think regulations to stop people putting it in my food are good. Why would anyone want food that has hydrogen in it?
for the yummy.Bertster7 wrote:

Because, don't like to be told what to do or what to eat.liquix wrote:

New York banned trans-fats I believe, where were the unrelated Socialist/Obama connections then?
Lot's of dangerous and obviously detrimental food products have been removed from the food supply, how's this different? Tell me because I'd love to know.
They need to ban ebay if they are going to ban anything... their fucking fees are ridiculous...

tbh, banning trans fats doesn't hurt anything...
but...
governments have a habit of slowly chipping away at freedom until there's nothing left
what i hate is how companies put a huge emphasis on trans fats as if they are the only thing unhealthy in their food, putting false hope into people who's self control is entirely nonexistent

I don't see how this has anything to do on a national level or with Obama.
It's state government. Go back to school.
All they're doing is changing the way the food is cooked. Not denying you food.
Don't like the way it's cooked? Cook your own damn food.

Added hydrogen, not hydrogen based compounds (obviously most of all the food we eat is hydrogen), like water or oils or virtually anything else. Hydrogenating oil is just silly and nasty, it helps preserve it, but oil doesn't need much help with that anyway.SenorToenails wrote:

I'm sure that they're hoping it will cut some health care costs; fat people can be fucking expensive when that fat jumps into their arteries and starts fucking with their heart.
If I remember correctly, trans fats contribute to raising 'bad cholesterol' (LDL cholesterol) which plaques the inside of your arteries and can lead to coronary heart disease... However saturated fats do the exact same thing and we eat 4 or 5 times more saturated fats than trans fats.

Mainstream society isn't going to care about something like this that's so small.
If they did the CA legislation would have a protest on their hands.
Besides, McDonalds changed to a more "healthier" oil to cook their food in several years ago.
It was a voluntary move by the corp yet people didn't tear up their MCD stocks because of it.
