BF2S Forums Euro Forces servers already?

yea.. theres many server providers that has them allready, you can choose for you map rotation, but no one its gonna be able to play them now.

Actually the Euro Forces pack was available for purchase at EA for a little while....not sure if it was on purpose or not....my buddy actually got it (paid the 9.99 and all)....and played...see the forums at

  When I tried to get it it was already offline.  It is weird though....they said you "have to have" patch 1.21 to play, but it works just fine if you don't.....well, just as good as good ole BF2 does now......

I live in Canada, is there is a way i can buy EF in stores? And what is Gamespy account?

A few searches around the place will tell you that you can pre pay for EF in a store.  They give you a code.

You plug that code and a gamespy id into the website page to download the EF content.

Gamespy is a game browser. The free version is riddled with adware and popup (well, maybe not, but the ads it does have are annoying).  Given that most multiplayer games come with a built in game browser (also powered by gamespy), it doesnt serve alot of use, unless you use it for the articles, forums, chats, etc. 

Checkout the icons at the base of the multiplayer screen. Ahh.. gamepsy.

The gamespy id is used to encode your version of the download so that only you can play it.  This prevents you from giving it to your friends, etc.

It might be simpler to get a debit card, which acts just like a credit card (there's a card name, number and expiry, and possibly a CCV) except you have to put the cash in first.. deposit $10, and you can spend $10.

There's been a posting in the Australia EA forums about this for a while, so the kiddies who cant get a credit card can certainly get a debit card and wont have to go without EF (if they really want it and can scrounge the US$10).
