I have to go with the Gorilla, I think it would outsmart the bear, besides I think a gorilla is more agile.
Gorilla's ain't geniuses. They can make simple tools, but a simple tool isn't going to overcome a bear. And a bear's top speed is 55km/h, much faster than a gorilla I would imagine.
Actually, upon doing a little research, leopards have been known to kill gorillas. Damn, I can't see how anyone could think a gorilla stands a chance in this fight.
