Stole this idea from another forum.

I thought it'd be fun to show off our e-penis', who can score the highest on Super PI. As you probably know, Super PI is a small CPU benchmark that calculates PI... simple enough. The lower the time, the better.

You'll need Super PI Mod, and CPU-z (to prove clock speeds)

http://www.xtremesystems.com/pi/super_pi_mod-1.5.zip
http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz_146.zip

Just extract both programs to separate folders, then start Super PI. You'll want to calculate to 1M. Once the test is done, a popup will come up saying it is complete. Don't push "OK" yet. Open CPU-z and take a screenshot of both windows, then post it.

It'll be broken into two categories. Since Intel completely rapes AMD at Super PI, it is unfair to compete them. Therefore, there will be an Intel and AMD category.

Hopefully someone will be enthusiastic and help keep this organized. If nobody really cares, then whatever... just thought it'd be fun.

As soon as I get home, and get my temp problems solved, I'm gonna do a suicide run at 4.4GHz with my E7200. Should come in at about 11s. But for now: (Pics in a sec, this stolen WLAN is shit)

My record is 55.9s on this machine. If cthe chipset would only support FSB533, then i could hax the CPU into running at 2128MHz These CPUs are really efficient, clock-by-clock, especially for their age.

Also, Intel doesn't just rape AMD on SPi. The one with the biggest cache wins. I'm surprised to see how horribad the results here are, I've gotten 35s out of a Socket A 2600+ @ 2.4GHz.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

It is very interesting that I got to see how much better I did than a P4 530.  I can't even outperform a lowly Core Duo, lol.

If I can still find this thread, I'll be sure to try it out on the P4 661 when I get it within the next year.

It's single-thread, so if you give it affinity to one free core, and don't have a lot of memory used up then it shouldn't matter.

Also, making it run in real-time helps slightly too.
