As you can see I'm going to have a 'virtual' bbq and the good news is if you can get there your all invited.
Please feel free to bring any food, drink, music, smokes, whatever really, you can even bring a bat and ball.
I'll be doing the cooking on MY BBQ, very simular to this:
Some of the things I'll be cooking include:
Springbuck Fillets
Springbuck meat is a small grained red meat which has a very subtle flavour and very tender. These Springbuck fillets are best served undercooked and will take in the flavour of your seasoning. South African game.
Kudo Steaks
Kudu fillet steaks are a prime tender cut, they are a beautiful dark-red colour and have a fine structure. Kudu meat is a game meat with a distinctive taste. As all game with low fat, it does well when under cooked.
Bison Steaks
These Bison steaks have a full beef flavour. As Bison is very low in fat, your Bison steaks should be always be served undercooked. This brings out the full flavour of this tasty meat. KP with your dodgy teeth I'd stay away from this one, might be a bit chewy
Impala Steaks
Impala meat is a small grained red meat which has a very subtle flavour and very tender. These tender Impala fillets are best served medium rare and will take in the flavour of your cooking.
Ostrich Steaks
Ostrich meat is a small grained red meat which has a very subtle flavour, very tender and one of our most popular meats. These tender Ostrich steaks are best served undercooked and will take in the flavour of your seasoning.
Wildebeast
A medium grained deep red meat which has a very subtle flavour and very tender. These wildebeest fillets are best served medium rare and will take in the flavour of your seasoning while retaining the game flavour.
Crocodile steak tail fillet
This crocodile meat is best cooked frozen as during any thawing process all the meat juices run out and the flavour is lost. Crocodile meat should be cooked for two minutes on either side and then allowed to stand for a few minutes. Do not use a large number of ingredients (other than herbs or spices) - no more than three is recommended. If frying crocodile meat, always use butter or olive oil as they will not impart a flavour that is unique or different.
Kangaroo steaks - fillet
Kangaroo fillets are both succulent and versatile. They are also rich in iron and low in fat. Kangaroo steaks work well with seasoning while keeping their unique taste.
Zebra Steaks
These zebra steaks are a deep red meat with a medium grain. It is a sweet meat with a medium game flavour. Cooks similar to beef but and works well with seasoning.
Reindeer
Reindeer meat is a must try for all you venison lovers out there. NOT AVAILABLE AT XMAS BBQ (I got kids) Cooked medium rare the great flavour of the fillet steak is well worth sampling.
Python
You may notice that I no longer stock Rattlesnake - this is because we have found Python to be a much better quality snake meat, with a lot more meat and less bones. From Bolivia, this product is a unique and a little more expensive meat.
So who wants want?
We'll talk about the booze further on.
