Except for the game against Italy i'm very impressed by the Spaniards, Ze Germans have so far only played one really good game and that was their first ... i guess Spain will have to be favorites infront of the final ... i hope Fabregas plays from start, i prefer him over Xavi ...

well the spanish game yesterday was as shitty as the german game before. I wasnt very impressed, sure the goals were nice. Somehow I knew the Espanols would win as I thought Russia was just lucky against the Holländer (as they were exhausted and didnt paid the necessary respect against the Speznazteam at all).
I guess this will be interesting final in the end.

Was at a party last night, so missed the entire game...
Xavi is better than Fabregas, he is the core of the Spanish midfield and one of the best passers in the world. Fabregas is very good, but he played much better with Xavi and Iniesta on the field. That is what Arragones has gotten wrong every time - he thinks that Fabregas should replace Xavi in the game at half time, but they play incredible football together and are much better together than as individuals.
The starting team against Germany should really be:
Casillas, Puyol, Marchena, Ramos, Capdevilla, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Silva/Senna, Guiza and Villa/Torres.
I think that is why Spain haven't played so well, because he keeps removing the core of the Spanish midfield and replacing it again and again, when he should be merging it.
