Shit fuck piss
The game freezes at the loading process of the main menu.Last night it was working just fine,never had this issue before.Tried exiting Xfire or msn (which tend to get funny with steam games) but no.I would just click the icon,wait for game to load,go through the valve logo and "powered by source" blah blah blah,and then get stuck at the loading screen.

Any ideas on how to fix this?Got my flare gun last night and I havent even tried it out

Hmm I really don't know. Try going on Tf2's properties and clicking on 'Verify integrity of game cache'.

That'll make sure everythings as it should be. If that doesn't work then I have no idea.

I had this problem.
There was a thread on the Steam forums, and the general consensus there was that a reinstall of Steam (Not just TF2) was what worked.

It's what worked for me, and yes it sucks.

I think ill wait for a patch/update or something that will fix this...im not gonna reinstall steam,until im convinced that steam is not going to do anything about it.

My friend had the same problem, his video card had an Nvidia firewall on it and you gotta delete it.

No everythings alright guys I sorted it out.I had to go in the steam folder and delete everything except steam apps and steam.exe.Then...I dont remember lol.
