BF2S Forums Medics vs Snipers v2

L85 rapes all, probably one of my favorite guns in the game. If you can aim and master it, its amazing.

And of course medics will win, every kill a sniper gets will result in another medic reviving them and no ticket loss. All the snipers can go 100-0 and the medics will still win.

Don't worry, no ones laughing at you because you fail with the L85.

dam i wish i could join but i have to go to Mexico tomorrow and I'm gonna be there for 2 weeks...i play sniper besides it help me so i can see if i can beat Gx Regis

Maybe not, but as I recall the only vehicles you were allowed to use were the boats and black hawk on wake... So what big difference will there be in IO?? More stamina so the medics can sprint/jump for longer making them harder to hit?

Even with the best 32 snipers in the world, in a lan with perfect hitboxes and no lag a mediocre team of medics who had never played with each other should still give you a run for your money if not win.

what if a sniper takes the medic's kit?  is that allowed?

That's really not in the spirit of the game is it? Can the medics pick up the sniper kits and spam claymores... That would make it interesting trying to cap flags with no one able to revive you.

And the AK47 is by far the best medic gun. And if this game ever does happen, I would bet my house on the medic team winning, and if they don't, you picked a bunch of retards.

I don't think we got "owned" as the KDR's were pretty awesome for the snipers (we out-KDR'd the Medics).  We just didn't play as a team that's all.

Regardless, we would still lose to a semi-competent medic team.

You got Owned. From memory the worst win the medics had was by 147 tickets and over the 4 games it was something like 700 ticket thrashing. Good KDR means Sweet Fuck All when your victims are just revived.

I would be quite willing to bet that you could have 15 medics to 30 snipers and the medics would still win by a good margin.

Either way BF2 was meant to be played with teams containing a mixture of the kits. I still want to see how this shakes out!

Right, I think i've decided on the maps; 32 size Dalian and 32 size Sharqi, both good maps for either team. There shall be NO unlocks, the use of claymores is allowed, but only to protect your position, and finally, Snipers may NOT pick up a medic kit to heal themselves, but obviously can use medipacks already thrown on the ground.

I'm thinking around 16 players a team, maybe more, maybe less.. So far I have 3 for my team, kptk92; PrivateVendetta and Me. I need medics to tell me on XFire or via PM if they want to play, i'm not taking any "o lol u no i wana pley jsut put me down" in this thread. Also, RDMC, I hope you make the right choice, there will be a medic slot waiting for you.

XFire is MintSauce41.

Snipers should be able to pick up medic kits to throw down medpacks, but not revive.
