First of all i would like to say i have been disabling this services for a year now and did not have any problems at all. All my devices (printers etc) are still working perfectly and OS is as stable as it can be. I posted this so people who were too afraid to disable any services can now do just that without any fear of messing something up.

I order to disable those services you need to go to (see picture):

Disable services at your own risk but as i said its working perfectly for me. This should shorten boot up process and make your PC more responsive.

Some of those services can be usefull for other people though.
(Especially Wireless Zero Config if you have wireless)

Yes some are pretty obvious what they are for. I recommend disabling all services from the first picture, rebooting and if everything works okay, continue to second picture and other services.

alg.exe is Application Layer Gateway, dont close it, your PC needs it , plus it only uses about 2Mb of memory..
Event Log, I wouldnt recommend closing that one either, especially if you have a tech support contract. They need those logs Live to support any issues.
