If you ever find a MacBook and there is nobody around, don't try to steal it. (Topic title should be ... MacBook, not laptop )
A Mac laptop and an iPhone got stolen from Kim Lingel's truck. She noticed it after being in a 6 hour fight/talk with her boyfriend.
The first person she called was Joey Carenza III, one of her best friends, and she told him what happened. And Carenza got on the case.
Simply put it like this
You can read everything here (Joey's article) and here (Mercury News)
You can see the pictures from the time Joey was watching the stolen Mac here (image of the thief too )

So he connected to the stolen Mac and watched over the thief as he was sitting by his computer all day.. Download stuff from Limewire, taking pictures with the webcam ect..You don't want Carenza on your trail. He is a high-tech, crime-fighting superhero. The guy knows his way around Apple's operating system - so much so that he acts as tech support for his friends. To make his life easier, he subscribes to a $99.95-a-year Apple service that allows him to access their Macs remotely so he can help with their problems.
