You guys meaning who?  Certainly the fact that we (US) allow more immigrants in than any other country in the world has some weight to this argument.  Certainly the fact that we have done little-to-nothing in regards to combatting illegal immigration (at least from a federal standpoint) shows the US government's commitment to "not wanting" immigration

Interesting to note that the person who runs this website is an immigrant from Saudi Arabia.  He probably wouldn't have even made it into Australia, seeing as he doesn't have a professional degree and probably no family members there.  I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing...
