My staff's on the other end of the scale, she gets very tense around other dogs and snaps if she feels threatened which means i'm sensible enough to keep her leashed unless i'm very sure there's nothing else around, i.e in the middle of a field. when walking my dog towards said field, there's always one person who's out walking their dog without a lead on it who refuses to call their dog off saying "it's okay he doesn't bite". They act like i'm the dickhead when I tell them mine does, and will if they don't back off.

Its a shame you have to leash her now but you could change her attitude towards other dogs and thus change peoples views of her too.  The only way she will ever get on with dogs is to get her to play with other dogs.  Easier said than done I know but if you really wanted to change that you will both have to do it.  You would need to encourage her and give her the confidence to play, I'd suggest a dog she knows well for starters and then bring another dog in and see what happens, keep her on a leash until you know 100% she won't snap at some other dog.

People who refuse to call their dog back if they see you concerned (for "any" reason regarding their dog) are bang out of order because any dog can be reported for worrying someone.

The worst mine will do is hit you with a stick/log or jump on you if you speak to her, that happens every time someone speaks to her and has caused me a few arguments but I always apolagise.  She is very obident and thats down to all of the family as any one of us should have full control on her and she dosen't become "my" dog, but its only me and Mollie who walk/feed her.  I am not at all worried about introducing a baby into the family come Sept providing I can do things my way.

I ride BMX and theres this one place where me and my mates usually ride. Its near a kebab house and is rich in aspects of 'street' and...well...kebabs
EVERY time i ride there (probably once a week) i see a cat, which looks identicle to that. I'm not a supersticious person but damn, that cat creeps me out. For some reason i came to the conclusion that on one fateful day that cat will be somehow linked to my death. Which is ok because when it's not around  i am fine, but when i see it i'm like AHHH devil cat! Whenever i see that cat it stops...looks at me, then darts away and by then nobody else has seen it, and they are like "wtf are you talking about, theres no cat"....yuh...rite.

But i'm sure your cat has no direct relationship to the devil cat, so i guess it's cool.

I don't like cats as they have had me in the past the little shits, all cats are devil cats or at least the ones I have met are.  They have scrammed my arms and hands and one even landed on my head.  They roll over and give it "come rub my belly;I'm so cute" and then BAMMMMMM, claws in, claws out all over and done with quickly.  All cats are just like women.  You can't trust them and you don't know what they are going to do next and Ive met some examples of both species who piss on you when angry/frightened/cornered.

No offence of course to cat lovers or women, or even cat loving women.  Both can be beautiful but beauty is only skin deep, some can be beautiful deep down too and have a lovely nature and one day I am bound to meet one.

I got 2 cats, they are lovely.

Maybe you shouldn't just walk up to cats you've never met and start rubbing your muddy hands all over them

I won't approach a cat unless I know it in the first place, every time I have been had its with a cat that I know/knows me.

Fuck all wrong with that, they are a massive commitment in more ways that one.  My dog shits out the back everyday, I can't walk her everyday but she has the free run of my yard which I have to clean every day.  I put my hand in a carrier bag and use it as a glove to pick up the shit. Dry and crusty this time of year due to the heat, if of course you were wondering the texture of it , as always though, its white.  Why is dog shit white after a day or so?

Its cost me £170 to hire a skip and chuck all the stuff out the back she has chewed, but I dont mind.  What I did mind which she has now grown out of is eating 1 of every shoe I had as a pair.  All the footballs of my Daughter she has burst, the inflatable swimming pool, the wooden things inside the house, she has cost me £100's of pounds worth of damage but you know what, I wouldn't change a thing.  I knew what I was letting myself into to and have no regrets at all.

At least you know aswell what your taking on when you have a dog.  The worst is feeding her in the morning before I go to work after a night on the ale, errghhhhh, spewwwwwy.

The only time we see her eat is when the other locals dogs are barking at her to go out the back and bark back (sounds odd just trust me).  She go to her dish, nibble nibble nibble and out she goes.  Its as if she thinks that while she's out "Talking" to her mates I'm going to eat her food yeah right.
