I hope you guys can help me as I am having a PB problem.

I have BF2 complete collection DVD installed

I just bought and installed BF2142 DELUXE EDITION DVD

Everytime I try to join a server, it kicks me after about 5 seconds.

It brings me back to the list of servers and gives me a PUNKBUSTER message that is blank and I have to click ok.

I have tried everything I know and still doesnt work.

Happens all the time man first try re-DLing PB, and we'll go from there.

Yep, i had the same thing happen to me when i installed it first. I had forgotten to install punkbuster when installing 2142

Just downloaded punkbuster and all my troubles dissappeared.

thank you guys

i figured it was somthing small

i uninstalled/reinstalled PB about 10 times

but it took uninstalling and reinstalling BF2142 to get it to work

bf2142 is f**ing awesome,
I stayed up till 2am playing and had to be at work by 9am

This might sound like an obvious question, but how do I uninstall and reinstall PB for 2142.  I've never had this before, and I'd prefer if possible not to have to reinstall.

I've got the same problem, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling bf2142 and the patch, as well as punkbuster.

Would the fact that I have Windows Vista be a problem?

if you have windows vista you might have to enable windows xp mode for BF2142

i run windows xp home 32-bit
