However I must disargee, stunt jumps are fucking sweet...I just cruise around and jump thing on my bike now. However the stunt cam suck very much, and makes it almost impossible to line up a good landing.

Maybe add some stuff they took out, so the game isnt just driving and shooting, this GTA kinda bores me, plus make the buildings look good (the shitty spray on windows they have now look as bad as the SA ones, which at the time wernt that bad, but for today its terrible) and enable us to actually go into more than 20 buildings (and make it so all/most the doors can be used, so its not just one room, and you can shoot out windows etc)

Chainsaws, flamethrowers, children (never gonna happen though), and as pos said more places to eat. It's fucking annoying when I've got a sliver of health left after getting run over by some asshole, and I have to drive from one end of town to another just to heal.

Airplanes, for the sake of flying into things.

Take out 'negatives' for friendship building. It's a neat part of the game, but it's fucking annoying when I'm trying to play the core game (aka missions) and I lose friendship points with someone for rejecting their invitation. Yeah, sorry I couldn't play darts with you, I was trying to get to a mission that would pay me boatloads of cash.

edit: Yes, bring back the national guard. I have to say it was a bit different shooting a soldier from some fatass cop (I mean come on, you kinda merit having fucking tanks chasing you. But a 1-star wanted level for sideswiping a cop car? Fuck you!), but tanks were THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST.
