Ok, so I got (most of) the package yesterday at exactly 14:05 local time (1305Z). Thanks Berny for the awesome smiley he stuck onto the envelope. It really was the finishing touch, sadly though it didn't brought much good fortune:
I've gone through all the notes people wrote and there is not one remark about significant damage to the disc. Well it's a bit more than scratches this time, I'm still doubting whether I should actually load it in my disc tray at all. It doesn't look that bad actually, but it has cracked completely through.
I'll get a 'fresh' envelope next monday which already has padding on the inside. That should help a bit with the weight and rather a large bit with the size and ease of unwrapping. Maybe I'll buy some laquer as well so I can properly seal it with a 'fleur de lis'; anything else I might add to the package remains a secret (no, I promise, no foodstuffs) I must say I was rather pleasantly suprised by the accumulation of goodies in the package, but I didn't really get the point with the 10+ UTP plugs.
