For those stuck with the

'Insert Correct CD/DVD'

Error when you get to the splash screen of BF2142,
Here's a simple possible fix that's sometimes overlooked.

- Right-Click your BF2142.exe
- Click on 'Properties'
- Click on the 'Compatibility' Tab
- And make sure that 'Run this program in compatibility mode for..' is UNCHECKED.

Then try starting the game again.

I'm not making any promises that this fix the error, But when people get this error, This fixes it 98% of the time.
The other 2% is usually the result of a Dirty/Scratched disk.
