I must be retarded.

I replaced my localization files with Afrojap's, I have done this before, but this time I can't get them to show up. I replaced the files, I found unique parts added different from the defaults, went to test them in single player, didn't work, come back and I find the unique parts again. Any cures for my stupidity?

If you have installed with English as language, have you replaced the English localization files with the ones you downloaded, and got a dialog screen with 'do you want to replace this' stuff. If you have had that, it should be working properly.

Yeah, and after I replace them I am viewing them and they appear correctly.

Try restoring your original files, edit them for something noticable (i.e. huge text) and see if that works.

I could never get mine to work when I edited them: but upon downloading somebody elses and replacing the originals, it worked. Theres something strange about them, in my experience
