Not very different. There aren't a hundred settings just to apply a simple filter/layer effect. You can drag and drop filters from the right tab to apply them.

For server graphics, if it's for BF2 or other shooter games, I recommend hardcore grunge effects, pictures of soldiers and a lot of layer effects. Google tutorials on those.
