The EMU 0404USB which is a professional sound card/DAC/amp.
This is actually my 4th card from Creative. I had the Audigy 2 NX (external), Audigy 2 ZS, X-FI FPS and now the 0404USB.

Yes it is! Internal sound cards get a lot of interferences since theres so many components around it and therefore a lot of magnetic interference. Even the shielded Asus Xonar has distortions. It cost me 200€ (134pounds or 263 US dollars)

Z-2300 and HD555 headphones. (headphones were more expensive than the speakers lol.

I didn't bought it for games but it seems the same as before. Good without EAX. I'm listening music while playing so...i don't no effects
