you should be looking at ~150$ for a quality SLI mobo, Intel chipsets might be slightly cheaper. Cheaper ones will have problems overclocking and may even explode if you pair them with a high end CPU. Their power circuits aren't designed for the wattage high end/quads need.

edit: open box/b-grade is way cheaper. The board works and has full warranty, the box just is opened

What exaclty do you mean by "the box is just opened"? Does that mean it's like buying a used game or something like that?

usually it happens when someone orders the wrong item. They open the box, notice that they don't want it and send it back. Think of it as buying a unused game but without the see-though plastic wrapping (what's that called? celuform or something)

Ok, how can I trust that when they opened the box that they didn't do anything to it? When they send it back, does the company check everything to make sure it's in working condition before putting it back up for sale?

Anyway, I'll order the board you showed me after reading reviews on it to make sure there's no issues.

they have to check it. And in the unlikely case that it is broken, you have full warranty and can just send it back to get replaced
