"Remove religion from society, it'll be a better place"
I have seen this basic idea thrown around in a bunch of threads, and I wonder: Is that a reasonable prospect?
So I ask: If religion never existed, would the world be different?
I think that war, persecution, hate, etc... would all still exist, but with a different 'justification'. Essentially, it would be a case of "meet the new world, same as the old world". What do you guys think?
