Its about 25-30 cm along each side for the base, and the figures and HUMVEE are all 1/35 scale, I made the tree, and that blue pallet thing just behind the HUMVEE myself .Jenspm wrote:
Great job MOAB!

Maybe I'll take a shot of my warbike tommorow and post it. I painted that one last, thus best.

Damn Venom, that's some really nice stuff. How many times have you won?
I was totally on 3 contest during my model carrier but i never won. My friend said who is doint this for 16 years now "Entering a competition is no all about winning, you should also be proud on yourself if others take pix from your stuff and is they ask about it"Flaming_Maniac wrote:

I still have to learn a lot as im still not that good. I do this hobby for 1 and a half year now and yeah not 24/7 as i got a lot of other things to do.
I was with the AS-90 the last time on a contest and its my freshest work.
Now im building: Sturer Emil, German KV-1
Need to be painted: M1A1 Abrams, Israeli Ti-67
So more pictures as soon im ready
Oh and i made an 1/72 plane for a friend, will post pics soon.
I have such crap models its not even funny.
I'm still working on my F-14 which hasn't been done for the past 6+ months heh
Could I get some tips for painting with the brush? (Don't have the cash to get airbrushes)
Mostly with the stupid paint streaks...
And some more tips for weathering...
I'm limited with paint also atm(enamels and some acrylic).

I see you do work and build models non stop. If you ask me i like them as they are built and painted well. But please use dirt, sand pigment and weather effects. I know you cant use much rust on modern stuff, but dirt, pigments and rain effects what will make it a bit used. Now your models are total new they are painted etc. Make it a bit like they were in service and you can see on them that they were used. No offence but this is what i thought when i saw your lates work. I was honest

Yeah im looking forward to build a Merkava Mk3 whats a nice one. First i wanted to build the one with the mine rollers but now i changed my mind and will get an Mk3. As soon i got it and im ready i will post. And thank you btw.
My latest and "finished" model was a gift for my friends birthday. Yes i know it looks preatty new (i blamed M.O.A.B for it) but i made it in a rush and dont had an extra day for all the weatherings and stuff what would give it the look as a used plane. In case plane dont had dirt and rust.

I never finished models. Always bought the biggest and hardest, completed the construction but then never painted them. I hated painted shit like that.
dope. you should put cracks on the periscopes and an rpg warhead shaped dent in the side skirt armor for realism
some crews liked naming their track. they put it on the side of the TOW launcher. Get an m2A3 next time, it has the civ and they are the newest type. do models let you put on reactive armor too?

depends on what the kit contains, problem is that the more modern vehicles don't come along updated very often, WW2 themed ones do, I'm still looking out for some modern US/UK soldiers to kit the vehicles out with. I keep thinking about attempting damage, but need a bit of practice so I don't mess it up so it doesn't look right.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

I'm building a Bradley right now actually. An Academy 1/35th. I just need to buy my paint and I will airbrush sometime in the coming week.
It's put together so I will have WIP pictures up tonight probably...
Off topic but, Gunslinger, did you stay at FOB Gunslinger? I believe it's in Baghdad IIRC? correct me if i'm wrong

Yeah. I got a huge B1 bomber ( can't remember it's scale, but it was about 1.7 metres in length ), and I finished every last tiny detail.... then it fell off the shelf and snapped.M.O.A.B wrote:
