With a bigger roster than ever, online multiplayer, and the ability to share screenshots, custom levels, and game replays with friends, Super Smash Bros. has never been better.

The third installment in the series, and in my opinion the best, as well as a must have for any Wii owner. Use this thread to discuss the game, tips, strategies, unlockable characters, etc.

Solid Snake + box = win

I read a preview in gamepro magazine and drooled at the ability to customize your fighter's appearance. I saw leopard-skinned, arctic blue camo, and green camo Snake. Mario in Wario colors. Link in new and old form.

This will probably beat Soul Calibur to death.

I have to say that Pit's return to Nintendo stardom has me loving life just a little bit more right now.
Pit FTW.
Ike is ridiculous, Marth even more so.
Link is good, Dedede is actually pretty good as well... same with Kirby and Meta-Knight.

Snake is pretty good as well.
This game is great. Makes me glad I have a Wii!

I love Lucario! Not only does he kick ass, he gets even better the more he gets hurt! Although I'm still bitter that he is Mewtwo's replacement, I have to say he is awesome. ROB is nice too.

How do you unlock Wolf? He's the only one I still need.
Nevermind, read the OP links.

Toon Link was such an asshole to unlock. Every time I finished Classic Mode to challenge him, I'd wipe the floor with him at first, a Smash Ball would spawn, I'd beat it up but not kill it, he'd hit it once and get it, and then he kills me with the Triforce Final Smash. Fucker finally got beat when I used Luigi. Took me 5 times to beat him. I'll find my Friend Code tomorrow and post it in this thread. Then I'll find out how to use them .

Not too different from melee, so he's pretty good.

The "flashing" dots are levels that are 100% completed, the ones with flags are levels you beaten, but still have items and unopened doors for you to explore. Once you've gone back into the flagged levels and found everything, you will have completed the SSE at 100%.

Falcon's got a spammable dash attack... My friends kina got pissed when I abused it

From my two days of playing it at a friend's house, it's really quite fun. The Final Smash thing is pretty awesome.

Favourite character has to be Ike (Roy used to be my fav. from Melee), but Snake's Final Smash is pure win. Point and shoot.

i like it how many of the newcomers are looking to be 'top tier' characters.
it would have been very dissapointing if fox, marth, shiek etc dominated like they did in melee but the balancing in the game is fantastic. toon link ftw!

that said, ike is hax in FFA.
