Are you able to change the map picture files for the levels, to say include spawn points on the map?

If you can, is this considered cheating?

The files I am referring to are located in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels\XX(LEVEL NAME) XX\Info\XXX.png

The files are not really png files but actually DDS files.

Wouldn't that give you the unfair advantage of knowing where the spawn points are exactly?
Used for spawn camping?
I think it would be considered cheating.

If I saw a PBSS of that map, I'd yell hacks. I wouldn't risk it.

If you play a certain map long enough, you'll be able to memorize them anyway.

It's not really that big of a deal, but I'm sure PB will smack you silly for it. They won't let you change the loading music, which I would deem even more innocuous, so I would be suprised if you could get away with it.

As Cyrax said, you'll memorize them quickly enough.

What map is that?

The map is Basrah Streets, which is on TWL season 6 custom maps.

It can be played in either vanilla or pro 1.5.
