Nah, M&P is better. Lower bore axis for better control/follow up shots. XD is badass, but not as much as the M&P. XD = 1911 grip angle, M&P = grip angle between XD and Glock. 3 sized back straps, steel chassis inside frame lets frame take some of the recoil, friggen key lock that disengages trigger bar from sear, and of course the mag disconnect safety (which disables if you need to). Nice 45. My dad just recently got a Glock model 21 (standard size .45) it's bad ass, and it's so light without the magazine in :-P
