what the heck does that refer to? how does one increase it? i myself are around 3% or so but i see the leader at 1k% wth? what gives? how is this tracked? if ea want to police the accounts then they should keep a eye on that, how can people have a 1k% or around that as a rising star?

anyone know?

my guess is it goes for the new ppl who play 10 hours a day and go up the ranking quite fast. so an average player will always hang around in the middle-end field and thre freaks will be higher up.

but i also wondered several times maybe someone can shed some certain light on that.

i think that's about right mort4u. have you seen some of those guys at the top with like 3000% increase. i'm tempted to think that they started new profiles after getting very good at the game and then play for like 24 hrs. straight. my guess is that this is measured by the amt. of time you've played vs. how fast you accumulate points in various areas? that's not authoritative though.

Agree with mort and blue! Like blue said: if u could manage to play 24 hours straight and be able to reach Sergeant Major of the Corpse, the percentage would be about 100000000
Depends on how much experience u gain within 24 hours....

I find the rising star to be weird. I remember for a week I played and was averaging about 80 points per map, hit over 100 points four times that week, and averaged nearly 400-500 points per night, when I checked my rising star it went from .82% about to like 1.47% its like what do I have to do to get it higher than that.

its per week, lets say you had 0 points and then in a week you collected 100 points, then your rising is 100%, the people that have like 3k% is people who just have started their account and plays like 10 hours every day, and therefore collect 3000 points in a week:P

Well..I started the other topic about "raising star" for just that reason. Which ones ARE useful ? NONE OF THE STATS. Sometimes they are calculated "about right", sometimes because of 100+1 unbelievable errors/server acts they are calculated wrong or completely "forgotten".
Very easy for some peeps to "manipulate" stats without doing any "illegal" actions.

I would like to ask a few "questions" from all but mostly players that have been or will be admins or semi-admins.
(This is only one thing in getting/not getting stats and might seem very "small factor". But it is not if you do some maths...lets say from 3 days..)

Questions :

Admins, when you go fishing/wanking/funerals/drinking/washing car/toilet...WHY do you give admin rights "only" to your best friend ( means : best friends and their girlfriends and uncles and girlfriends ex-friends etc. will get them too.) ?

Are all admins aware what happens on servers when they have trusted admin rights "just for 2-3 days" for their trusted best friends?

Well...there might be quite few to actually answer to questions but let's see some opinions / known facts / experienced situations from players...

P.S. I know and I have seen what CAN happen..even when you gave "admin rights" ONLY for one person and for 2 days...

Not exactly so, almost...

It's per week points compared to TOTAL play time (that is written inside the game..). That's why I made an example of 2 players...
But I really can't get ANY idea of the method in that math...and I can see that none knows that. Not even those poor coders...

P.S. I don't ask from "raising star"-stats because I think that is the most important stats in the game.
Plain and simple : WHY is there all kind of bullshit counters in game code when they don't even work ?
Is it because the coders are nice and they think that winter is coming so everyone should have something warm..like CPU (and the rest of the gear too..) ?
Or do they want to have HUGE databases to choke every EA stats-server hardware so players can "enjoy" random delays, off-line situations etc.
I don't get it...useless programming IMO..
