once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
My heart goes out to your brother, you, and your family. Deepest sympathies. Hope he gets better soon.
Hope Sal gets better soon. Regards to you, Sal and your family. Hang in there buddy its gonna be OK.
Hope your bro gets better soon
If they've got him on IV and his potassium levels stay low they should check his aldosterone levels in case it's a hormone-related problem.

Hey, thanks once again guys.
I haven't heard from them yet today, which is a good thing. It means he wasn't transferred, and his levels are most likely rising.
I'll tell you if I hear more.
I've been googling "potassium deficiency" and they mostly say cases are related to kidney problems and dehydration. They've ruled out kidney problems though...
Hmm...
Weird indeed.

Thanks guys, that really means a lot.
Don't believe in prayer, but hope he gets well soon.

My prayers are with ya man, my Gran is in hospital at the minute and its a very hard time for me. Just hope things will be ok.
Nevermind... just talked to my dad and they ARE going to Portland. His levels aren't rising like they should be...
This is so strange...

I know what you mean mate, im not religious but have prayed twice. First time was my daughter survived Gastrochisis (<<google that, but not the images as its horrific) when she was born, she did, the operation was successful. I am blessed with a beautiful 7 year old.Funky_Finny wrote:

The second time was when my Mum was diagnosed with cancer, god didnt help me then but I tried, what else could I do it was out my hands, but I'm not religious, weird.
May the God of peace and comfort be with you, your brother and your family in your time of need.

Glad your daughter made it through.
When my Gran was diagnosed with breast cancer I didn't do much, I didn't even pray, as, well, what's the point? Nobody's listening.
Commiserations for your mum. How long has it been?
Don't worry he'll be Okay. Be strong and the community is here to show you support !
That sucks, but don't worry, it'll be fine
