BF2S Forums Is Cod4 getting old quick?

It's old and busted already. I beat the game inside of 2 days and hit multipayer. MP got boring after a month. I don't know about you guys but the levels are just horrible. I have no favorite level. And I can't believe thay actually put the level "shipment" in the game. I mean seriously, it's the worst level in all of gaming history. I coud have pulled a better level out of my ass in about 10 minutes. I know it's a mainstay of game play but nothing boils my blood more then the random spawn points, errr well they aren't really random since I noticed lil kids hanging out by the spawn points waiting for people to spawn. And there is nothing more frustrating then spawning right in front of the enemy and being shot down before you can even hit the fire button. With that said the game is coming to a close for me.

I gotta have something possitive to say about the game so here it is. It was one of the best FPS single player games to hit the shelf. I played it through 3 times. AWSOME single player.

The public games got boring very quickly, but if you have a clan, then play pcw's they are way more fun.

i played Bf2 for over a year. i play COD4 MP for a good 2 months and i dont see as much shit from other players compared to BF2. maybe in the future that might change.


COD4 is the best MP FPS i have played since my BF2 playing days ended. yes it is not as in depth as Bf2 , but contrary to popular opinion, there is just as less teamwork there as Bf2 now. when i first played Bf2, there was teamwork in someway even if people did not join squads. now Bf2 has been saturated with stupid admins, hackfest and what not. i join squads in good servers only to have a medic stare at me without one kind act of reviving me.  I play COD4 on my xbox360 via xbox live to get away from the hackers that messed up my online gaming experience. but then again there are immature fags on xbox live.

Bf2 players ( well most of them) are soo concerned about stats, frankly i dont give a rats ass if my stats suck. COD4 is about having fun with perks weapons, even it has stats . you have soo much custoimization option compared to BF2.  not all COD4 custom options are usefull for example the eavesdrop perk which allows you to hear someone in the other team talk shit.


COD4 may not live as long as the BF2 series, but it is a SP/MP game that has allowed me to step away from the Bf2 spotlight. how many respectable players that started playing this game still play? not that many .

i don't think it's dying but it won't last for a that long time like bf2 IMO.

After I ran out of challenges and started focusing on the few camos that I didn't have it started to get boring. It just got too repetitive. It's still a good game but i'm hooked on TF2 now.

Dude I try playing Bf2 for more than 4 rounds and I can't. The hit reg is so bad in that game, I don't like wasting a whole clip on someone while they are twitching and dust comes off of them and only get 2 hit regs thats just bad.

I hate it when I HS someone with sniper rifle, his body twitches, dust comes off, but nothing happens.

I'm not sure how we are defining "noobiest game" here, but CS:S takes a lot of skill/time to be good at (sure noobs can spray P90's etc - but what about any other game).

COD4 is much more noob friendly than CS:S.
